Disclaimer: I wrote this for Price Chopper on behalf of Collective Bias and developed this recipe for this campaign. All opinions are my own, all concepts are delicious, and my first day of school outfit was awesome, just thought you should know.
My school schedule changes each semester- depending on what classes I’m taking, I don’t know if I’ll have to prepare a dinner to take to school with me or an early breakfast in the morning. If you’ve got a hectic schedule like mine, maybe you’ll want to give my cheesy deli sandwich bake a try! Using products from Hillshire Farm’s all-natural line and Jimmy Dean frozen entrees, I shopped at Price Chopper supermarket and made an easy, breezy, and assuredly cheesy egg bake that can be eaten fresh from the pan, stored for quick baking, or cut into squares for on-the-go breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any time of day.Using my AdvantEdge card, I purchased my necessary products- Hillshire Farms roast beef and Jimmy Dean frozen grilled steak bowl, and got my inspiration. The steak bowl had green peppers, potatoes, and onions, the perfect base for a breakfast bake, and along with crispy French fries, eggs, and cheese, I had the perfect, protein-packed filling. I made an easy-to-hold crust out of bread that I shaped into the bottom of the pan and I sauteed my meat with mustard for a little extra deli flavor to help those breakfast and lunch themes really intersect. Add plenty of cheese and I was all set!The coolest thing about this recipe is how easily it can be customized- not a fan of roast beef? Price Chopper carries all kinds of Hillshire Farms meat, so ham can be swapped in a jiffy. Want an all-breakfast theme? Swap out the fries for some hash browns and you’ve got yourself a great pan of food to start the morning- and the week- right. I can see so many neat possibilities with this, from a Southwestern casserole to a Southern bake with a biscuit base. Going back to school has never been easier with #PriceChopperB2S.
Also, wanna win an iPad Mini? I don’t know about you, but that would definitely make my school year easier! Just enter here from 9/21 to 9/27, or next week, and you’ll be entered to win by submitting your best back to school photo. The top five voted photos, as well as five random winners, will each win an iPad, so whether you’re a shutterbug or not, you’ve still got a chance. #CollectiveBias helps me get out of bed in the morning- and think out of the box!
